Programs and Activities

After School Club

Our homework club supports 120 disadvantaged young people with academic help, life skills, and a daily hot meal. With full attendance and positive feedback from families, the programme has improved school performance and wellbeing. As demand grows, we continue expanding these vital services—made possible by our dedicated team, funders, and trustees.

Summer Holiday Program

With the support of our donors, Up 'N Away ran a two-week summer programme for 180 children aged 8–14. Activities included sports, creative workshops, and memorable outings like snow tubing and canoeing. This joyful break offered relief, new friendships, and a sense of belonging during tough times.

Sleep Away Camp

Our residential camp in Wales welcomed 230 socially excluded teens for a week of adventure and growth. From high ropes to countryside walks, the programme provided escape, confidence-building, and life skills—supported by DBS-checked staff and volunteers in a safe, nurturing environment.

Breakfast Club

The breakfast club gave disadvantaged teens a healthy start, practical life skills, and a sense of routine. Participants helped plan and serve meals and joined weekly fitness sessions, building confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing.

First Aid Course

We delivered an accredited first aid course for 12 young people aged 16, all of whom qualified successfully. The training offered life-saving skills, a career boost, and a pathway into volunteering within our programmes.
